You really are a brilliant musician!!!Your analysis of the song is so insightful. I have spent 40 years trying to unravel these songs.Thank you (again)..,they also serve to reinforce why I am such a Johnny devotee…how did someone in their late teens/early twenties write these songs???? Please keep going with these videos…not least because they put a face to all the work you share!

I'm not sure if this is your first non-headless guitar video but good to see you! I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your videos, playing, and the love for the Smiths. I'm not sure of your background, but I'm roughly the same age and played Smiths songs growing up in high school. I'm not too good on guitar but I really love your playing and appreciate the chords/tabs you pout out. Cheers brutha! I appreciate you. keep it up!

But have have left guitar at home looking forward to trying this when i get back. Its a good format to go with the tab lessons

Cracking first lesson from you, it's been nice to see you come out of your shell a lot recently and now that you're doing lessons that will reinforce the quality and scope of the work you've already done. Also, do I detect a Yorkshire accent?? Good to see another Yorkshireman putting into The Smiths' community! Keep these up as they're fantastic :)

Thanks for another great tutorial. Can I ask you a question? I noticed that the tab on your cover video is a little different. For instance, the D9 is played with the thumb reaching over for the low E string and the A string is muted. I'm guessing the cover version with the tab is what Marr actually plays? What do you think is more accurate? The D9 as you have it here sounds better to my ears. Looking forward to your future 74-song complete Smiths tutorial catalogue ;-). Cheers.

The real challenge with song is Johnny deffo speeded up the recording. I fucking love Johnny, but you simply cant play this like the record for that reason. But this lesson superb mate I watched him play this live in the ‘80’s (old fucker) it was nowhere near as fast live

@@HeadlessGuitarPlayer Hello, sorry, it's a demo of the smiths who didn't record but it's on youtube, I don't know if you know it, it's called "fast one" or click track" something like that I suppose, it's how it appears on youtube and I love the guitar.
