I've been hustling to get this LS swap wrapped up for my customer, and its time to finalize the wiring in this Jeep XJ Cherokee. The build consists of a cammed LQ4 with an LS6 intake, headers, a custom built exhaust, and its all wrapped up in a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ 2 door sport that's sitting on some pretty serious off road hardware like Dana 60's with 4.56 gears, a long arm suspension kit, and electric lockers. The 4.0 jeep engine is a fairly reliable power plant, but certainly lacking in the power department compared to what even the most basic LS swap can offer, but when you step it up to a 6.0 with a cam, 400hp is easily within reach. So the million dollar question after installing a remote mounted battery is will this thing start? Well, its an LS swap, so you be the judge.
