I just wish some of the manufacturers watched these videos and got ideas they could incorporate into new saws. The fences on the cheaper saws are usually crap and let the whole saw down.

I've binge-watched several tablesaw fence videos--this is the best design. This basic design with lots of tweaks and variations--EXCELLENT. I'm already thinking through where I can get me some surplus acme thread shaft...

Great work little over kill but not bad true is that the fence is very inportante for safety to be accurate and firm otherwise you will have kick backs and flying wood peaces to your face so great job .

Hello Jhon. I love the fence build. I bought M16 meter long Rods. I actually bought 2 of them just incase I mess up one. LOL I'm about to start building my own table saw. I will begin this month early...ish. I need to get some drawing down on paper 1st before beginning bcos I want to have something to fall back on if I need it. U get my meaning bro. U made a great job of the fence. I saw that guys other video u spoke about. Can I ask why u used a rod with 20mm incremants?? I thought he used 1/16th himself but I'm probably wrong. I have bought the nuts as well for M16.. I'm going to build the whole frome from Steel. I want to build the tilt mechanism into my saw as well. I have an old crappy table saw from TITAN. It's pure garbage but the motor/arbor is really decent. It's nearly 2HP so that's enough for me atm. I weill upgrade the motor to be a belt driven saw in the future but cost is a bigger thing atm and I want to recycle as much of the old saw as I can. I'm also going to build in a sliding table but it will not be too heavy either. I watch a guy do his jsut there and he had so much weight built into it that he couldn't get rid of the play from it. The great thing about KZitem is guys like u and Jer Schmidt and many more who make awesome videos that teach ppl like me how to do this dso thanks very much for this and explaining it so brilliantly.. Salute from Dublin, IRE.

Can I ask about the truss Bearings please my friend?? Why are they so important for this fence? I watched the other guys videos too. As I saw I bought a 16mm x 1000mm Threaded Rod for my table saw fence build. I'm a little bit stumped about why those special bearing are needed though? Do they allow u to get the precision movement with the fence? I have everything else to build my fence but this is the part I don't understand. If u or anybody in the comments could explain the use of the Truss bearings I would be very grateful.. Thanks all..
