Brilliant video. I'm struggling to get into the translation and interpreting industry, and it's frustrating because communicating with people is my passion, and I've had to settle for a normal full-time job. Each day that passes that I'm not translating or interpreting, I feel like part of my dies for ever. Good luck to all you out there, and thank you panellists! x

I have just watched this, this was excellent, thank you! It really amazes me how much knowledge and skills one person is required to possess to make an interpreter/translator.

Excellent! I am Brazilian living in West Yorkshire, England. I used to teach English and Portuguese in Brazil and now I want to get back to what I did, which included coaching and translating for professionals in advertising, marketing and finance fields - When is the next seminar please? What is the market like in the area where I live? Thanks!

The ICSC work sounds really interesting. Is there a way to figure out what language one could master specifically to work for ICSC that would be in high demand?

@Mid-Century Modern that's a new word for me, what is "dour"? I found 3 different translations on Google lol What did you mean by calling her "very dour" ?
