Thank you for the video. I am an interpreter and also a translator. I started working as a translator at uni, then I progressed to work as an interpreter. I prefer working as an interpreter because it is more dynamic.I find translating very time consuming, sometimes we go over the texts so many times, it seems endless, however, the work location is more flexible. www.asiantranslations.co.uk

Tried not to be too biased here, but yeah, I'm definitely more of a translator than an interpreter. However, I should have also mentioned that interpreters get to meet people face to face. So, for example, I have an interpreter friend who has interpreted for A-list movie stars, sports stars, etc., which is pretty cool. He said being recognized at a distance 2 years later by a famous actress at a party is pretty cool. You don't get that with written translations.
