Skipper started barking and ran to the door when he heard your rooster. 😂 He’s turned into the little guard dog. We could use some of your weather right now. We’ve been tooling with the idea of buying a wireless fence. Just so the dogs do go and eat dead stuff off the beach. Hope you have a great week Ron. Oh and the shelf looks amazing.

I thought of a wireless fence as well. Illah will bark at another dog barking on a video I’m watching.😂 Hopefully your snow will melt quickly. Thanks you two stay warm..!!

Those redwood planks are beautiful. I love doing those simple types of projects. It can be very Zen-like to focus on the minutiae.

Beautiful!! I can almost smell the scent of the wood! I grew up around a saw mill. My Maternal Grandpa was the "clean up" man. My Dad pulled on the green chain in the early days and then he loaded the train cars with him eventually loading out trucks. He could really scoot around on that small lift truck! He had an 8th grade education and used a stubby pencil to figure the board feet and such. Those were the days! I am SO looking forward to seeing the finished shelves!! ~ Blessings! ( :

Regarding the axe target planking you milled, please share with us in a future video the response you received from the owner! No doubt you saved him money while creating a little for yourself...it's the American way, especially when it comes to community! Thanks for " representin' " Ron!

Thanks for sharing Ron! I might be remembering incorrectly, but didn't you get a forge at one time? I could be mistaken, it's been known to happen from time to time. Have a great weekend!

You are correct. I just need to build a structure to put it under and the lathe I got as well. It’s still on my mind.👍
