Mad respect to Fast Eddie. Humble, a great sportsman and his runs were very consistent. And i love the fact he was running NA. Forced induction, whether it's nitrous, turbos or superchargers are very common at 1/2 mile and 1 mile competitions. Running NA requires a ton of trial and error. If it weren't for the wheel spin off the line (and the one pass where he missed a gear) he could have easily gone 201 or 202. Hope to see him and the Vette again, soon. Great work, 1320 Video.

I can't believe everybody doesn't think a N/A can be that fast you people do realize there's Pro Stock cars that run 6 seconds at over 200 miles per hour in the quarter mile!
@ganeshgajavelli1487
6 жыл бұрын
I think that people don't have any problem with it going fast, is just really hard to make big power N/A what with the insane compression and rev limiter. Compared to forced induction it's just that it's insanely impressive to be going that fast naturally aspirated. Like that takes a lot of engineering to balance everything well and then strengthen everything to rev high and make top-end power.
@onetwoyouadeadman

N/a high power cost alot of money that's all it's cheaper to build a engine around boost
@1216jimmyz

Also its "only" 441 CI...most Pro Stock cars are running 700 PLUS CI....its amazing how big they make them now a days...like Sonny's...you can call him up and have a 1000 CI monster delivered to your front door...and NA...that animal makes something like 2100 HP...haha...I would LOVE to just hear that animal running down the track in front of me...lol
