where is this video from? I have a Praying Mantis movie and a Wing Chun series that are also shot in this same location, it has to be some great Kung fu spot, probably for the Tai Ji on the ground and the sereneness of the lake. Thanks for uploading. Xin ku.

very nice! Got to say I laughed when I saw the translation for Tai (bird ) form into Mackerel. Either it is a mistake or it is an aspect am ignorant if. Still Mackerel fist sounds funny!!!

Well you can practice how you want.. some branches emphasize standing postures more, usually the Hebei ones, the Shanxi ones emphasize moving more and have more dynamic exercises.. they are both good just different approaches to the same thing.

hat is YiQuan and How do it applied to Bagua and xingyiquan also when I practice SanTiShi what I do is each movement I hold to count 60 then procede to the next movement and do the same do you think that as good way to practice?
@ukguy

YiQuan is a modern martial art related to but not the same thing as XingYiQuan or BaguaZhang... Yes holding each movement is a good way to get used to the postures and correct alignment when first practicing as long as you can self correct.. you can practice stationary, very slowly like TaiChi and fast with full power, each has it's benefits. Also I recommend to take each movement apart into smaller parts and practice each part lots and create variations of each movement to find what feels natural to you. Each person even when practicing the same martial art will do it differently and focus on different aspects. Some people practice just a few movements and standing in SanTi for years.
