Bliss. I was a despatch rider in London once upon a time, and absolutely loved the constant line changes. I really miss it sometimes.

Hi Hutchie, It certainly does focus the mind when you have to constantly change lanes 👍

I would definitely require a pub be open at the destination if I had to make that trip often. Lol. That was fun to watch. Stay safe and enjoy.

I commute on my T7 up on the west coast of Scotland and wouldn't change it for all the money in the world. Don't know how you guys could do that every day with it being so busy. Need eyes in the back of your head. Only seen 3 cars a deer and a dead badger on my way to work this morning over 18 miles. But they dead badgers can be dangerous if your riding home from the pub !

Hi Joe, Sounds like you have a pretty good time of your T7 commute in that setting, wonderful. You're certainly right about eyes in the back of your head for City community too.

Tenere looks a pretty good bike. I would imagine that the CBR500R you had before was a bit easier through the gaps though. What is it with bus lanes? I really don't understand why some of them are motorcycle friendly and some are not. It's not too bad if you're familiar with the area, but if you're not, it's just something else you have to be really careful about. On a bike you've got enough to be looking out for without that.

Hi Geoff, Well said and I couldnt agree more with the T7 versus CBR commute. Not sure why some Bus lanes dont allow Motorbikes too, it seems super strange especially in this day and age of better road lane management.

Basically everything you were doing would be illegal in Canada and US.
@TwistyRoadRiderMotorcycles

Ouch, that seems a little unfair for US and Canadian bikers. Needless to say, here in the UK its fully legal, the motorcycle examiner expects to see some filtering on the bike test day and will take the new rider on a route to find heavy traffic. Thanks for letting us know. Ride safe bud. Best Regards, Roy

@@TwistyRoadRiderMotorcycles Yes, rules here are really stupid. Only place in the world I know of where you can't filter. The rules for motorcycle are the same as for bigger vehicles. Just sit in traffic, its unbelievably backward. California is the only State that allows filtering. Wish I could ride like you guys, makes a whole lot more sense and is safer.

Hi SR, I felt like that too and have test rode a few different types of bikes, so I would recommend anyone to swing a leg over the Tenere 700 and see how you get on. When I first rode one of these, I felt immediately at home on it, its as good on the road as it is off road. Hopefully when the lockdown restrictions finally end I will get the chance to test it out in other settings too.
