See how easy that he scores. He was so versatile and talented. If he was never injured, you would see him winning championships, breaking records.

the reason why yao got injured, number one is he never stopped playing, even in summer he has to practice with chinese national team. 2nd reason, the trainers made him too heavy for the belief that he should match up with big men of the NBA.

5:22 many people think yao wasn't strong as Shaq or Howard were at their prime but he had incredible lower body strength allowing him to bully basically everyone in the post.

Yao, really could have been something. 7'5-7'6 300 lbs, mobile, soft hands, advanced post moves, an all around offensive skill set. Was really coming into his own in the latter part of his career. Miss the guy.

The best big man ever would be a HUGE stretch. My top 5 centers are (in no order) Kareem, Hakeen, Shaq, Bill, and Wilt, so I don't think Yao would crack the top 5 even at his full potential. However, I think he could have been in the tier just below those guys, along with robinson and ewing etc. Also, by the time he retired at 30, he was already plagued by injuries for many years, which means he could have been better if healthy.

Yao Ming & Jeremy Lin just missed each other's playing years by 1 or 2 years overlapped. Imagine if they both played together for Houston at the same time. It could have been nicknamed the "Asian Connec-sian". They could have become the tag team of their era.
