There is so much I like about this video. The first is seeing a mature person playing a hybrid piano. You are the first I've seen on You Tube. The second is the choice of songs. It's like you are looking back on your life and we can see how you've adapted by the new piano. Most people our age have old acoustic instruments. The third thing is how very neat you keep your room, lol. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the memories.

Many thanks for your message. Sight-reading was a necessity for me as I have never had a good memory so I have always had to sight read. But it is something of an acquired skill. Stick at it!

It would be telling to know the setting on this piano. It does, however, have a distinct warm voice a bit similar to me Kawai GX 3. Always one can tell a Kawai from their warm voice.

A very good Arrangement! That's a nice sound!! I also love Kawai pianos. (And I play one myself). I'm really interested, is it an external recording with a microphone or via the line out output?

Hi. Many thanks for your message. I record straight onto a USB stick and do a little post-production work in Audacity - but not much. Getting studio-quality recordings on the NV5 is really easy and is one of the reasons that I chose this instrument

@@sordini66 Thank you for your quick response! It could be that your piano sounds a little softer and warmer when you hear it in the room, so it is with mine. the digital USB recording sounds a bit colder. Anyway, you're doing it right, the sound quality is great.

Many thanks for your kind message. I absolutely love the Kawai NV5 - it really is a remarkable instrument and I am so glad I switched fron a traditional acoustic piano after 50 years.

Potrei sapere se il suono è registrato direttamente dal generatore oppure proviene dagli altoparlanti?

Ho registrato il suono direttamente dal pianoforte su una chiavetta USB.

I'd say practicing with a metronome is needed here. Tempo speeds up and slows down.

Gosh, you think maybe that's his intention? It's called rubato, dude.

His left hand accompaniment keeps a steady beat while the melody uses rubato.

@@c3piano I absolutely agree with Carlos, there is really no lack of practice here. The right hand technique is used in a very targeted manner.👍
