I’d have to disagree with Tammy; breathing is part of yoga. I find your breathing helps me regulate my own breath during these practices. I really enjoyed this session for my recovery day. Namaste 🙏

Agreed. Imagine asking a yoga teacher to not breathe? Part of yoga is acknowledging uncomfortable feelings and letting go of them. This is where we grow.

Thank you for including that nerve flossing neck stretch, this is the first time I’ve ever seen it done with this stretch and it made such a difference in my shoulder and neck tension. It like it instantly released everything for the first time in awhile❤

Thanks Ken! I support you on your journey. Mobility and flexibility s so important and especially as we get older. Also, don't forget to stretch your feet. That's one of the top injuries for people over 60 (you may already know this, I'm just trying to be helpful.) :)

Thank you for truly full body practice. So many will say full body and while it's great to open your hips. There usually isn't much for the upper body.

I’ll be honest this class was rough for me. I know yin is supposed to be about listening to your body and doing whatever feels good… but either the posture was too much of not enough. A lot of pain and not enough pleasure 😅. However. I have a cute four year old and she was peeking out of her bed about every five minutes so I was distracted hahaha so disclaimer there. Regardless your classes are freaking saving me. Thank you for all of this content. I wish you knew how grateful I feel in my heart to be able to share this practice at home. It’s so nice for the stay at home mom life and has helped me be more present with myself and my kids. So thanks ❤

Marissa thank you for the kind and honest note here. I admire your consistency to practice at home, especially with a little one - it's not always easy. That being said, I completely understand the feeling of "too much or not enough". I feel that way with my own classes sometimes too - we just need something different each day. That being said, I do have a new yin class out tomorrow morning (Sunday!) and hopefully this one is (goldilocks reference for your little one) juuuuust right. :) I hope you have a balanced and joy-filled week ahead.

I have misophonia and don't find any of the breathing or mouth noises so distracting that I can't meditate through them 🤷♂️
