I found this presentation chalk-full of valuable information; I am a psychotherapist who uses somatic practices to help regulate the nervous system, and the conversation regarding the benefits of yoga when working w/people who are challenged w/depression is "spot on". I also love the concrete information on the research these premises are based on; evidence based practices carry weight, especially when working within the western "medical model" and health care coverage.

Good discussion . Where do I find a holistic yogi that integrates top down approach with meditation , diet etc? Most yoga programs are one dimensional body movements.

How do I identify and find a holistic yogi covering body flow, breathing, meditation , diet etc. Instructors I have encounters are body flow and position practices?
