The most important thing to note about today’s class is to STOP if anything we do starts feeling uncomfortable. Listen to your body. We’ll start in child’s pose, which I know for a lot of people who have experienced trauma can feel unsafe, so you are invited to take this pose on your back, hugging your knees to your chest. There are only three ways to move energy through the body: through breath, movement, and sound. In this class, we will be doing all three. At any point during this class you need a break, you are welcome to come back to corpse pose, child’s pose, or any pose that makes you feel comfortable. As we start and end the flow today, if you choose to, you can tell yourself “I am safe. I survived.”
