Hey y’all! Today’s upload is YOGA FOR WEIGHT LIFTERS. This practice was requested by one of my subscribers on KZitem. I was excited about this suggestion because it’s very important that people who lift heavy or workout heavy keep their bodies & muscles flexible. When your muscles are tight, they are more susceptible to injury. There are many times people will workout without stretching properly & put themselves at risk for injuries. If you are able to, try to stretch before AND after your workouts. Also, doing yoga & stretching the muscles could also help your muscles to grow. From my experience & observations, sometimes weight lifters can be tight in the hips, shoulders, back, & more. I tried to do poses that incorporated these areas of the body. If your muscles are tight, these poses may be difficult to get in, so just be sure to listen to your body & come out of any poses that may be painful or feel like you’re straining. Be gentle with yourself & give yourself time to earn your flexibility. Don’t just jump into the poses because you can definitely hurt yourself if you’re not careful.
