This yoga practise is a great for those who weight lift, or are into lifting in the gym. This yoga for lifting focuses on the shoulder and hips, whilst targeting those areas we can ease tension, DOMS and keep a full range of motion. In this yoga for weightlifter yoga flow we open the chest and shoulders, target the inner and outer hips, whilst also stretching out the glutes and hip flexors. This yoga flow is perfect for those into weight lifting and maybe quite new to yoga. This is a slower paced yoga practise so we give our mind time to connect the muscles and ease tension slowly. The key is to find stretches that feel nourishing to the body and not like it’s torture! This yoga flow lifters yoga practise is suitable for anytime of the day and beginners are more than welcome!
