Get him a food science-oriented cookbook. Tell him cooking would be of interest to any man with a big masculine scientific mind. He'll be so happy to hear you agree that his smart man brain is superior to his grandma's old wives' tales about the best way to cook. He'll open the book once, then decide cooking is too much work, but keep the cookbook on display in his kitchen. If you ask him about it, he'll say he's fascinated by the science of cooking, but obviously making dinner is not his job. Then he'll push you to try one of the recipes and look over your shoulder the entire time so he can mansplain the recipe to you. And he'll decide that his sage advice is worth more than cooking the meal and doing the dishes combined-- so why on earth would you expect him to help you clean up?

How nice of him to tell his mother and sister to go help out his Gram Gram! There's certainly nobody else around to do it!

He has to imagine what modern day women's apartments smell like 'cause he's never been _in_ a woman's apartment 😂

I know people like this... they live their life according to what their political ideology says they **should** want, instead of what they themselves actually want. It's no wonder why they're so very unhappy. It has to be a miserable existence to live that way.

The little detail of him hogging the glass bowl with treats gets me the most, and I am not sure why.

Don't like the implication that people make in regards to "women nowadays don't wanna cook". My mom began cooking when she turned 20 to 21 because she was an inmature person lol, and I've heard similar things coming from other people in regards to the women in their life, it's literally just called maturing, and it's something most people do lol.

And it’s always said by men who do not and will never be interested in learning how to cook lol

Anyone saying 'x type of person doesn't want to do x thing nowadays' is either pissing dust or just the most egregious kind of asshole. Sometimes both.

The only things wrong with him is using his grandma for money and thinking only women are even capable of stepping foot in a kitchen.
