Thanks for the tips on using liquid eyeshadow! I just bought a couple and I'm looking forward to trying them. 😁 Potential topic for a future video?: Tips on matching lips to an eye look. Like color, finish, application style (bleeding lip, overlining, no lip liner, etc). I struggle with this and always end up trying and wiping off several lipsticks before I find one that I feel looks right. 😅

As someone who never had an older sister/mom who did anything beauty related and I'm 33 now, your videos are my life savors. I know im going to learn something that I was never taught, and that is going to step up my beauty game 💚🤗 Editing this for a question: I feel like no matter how many different ways I apply foundation, it comes out cakey and cracked. Am I just not doing it correctly? Or do some people's faces just don't do well with foundation? I finally found my color match(vanilla too faced) but just usually go without it, because I don't like the look after it's applied. Any thoughts or tips, from Robert or not, would be appreciated!

Do you moisturize before you apply foundation? Casey could be a lot of things!! Too much put on, not enough skin hydration or may it is just the formula not working with your skin type! If you prefer a lighter coverage, look for a medium coverage foundation! There are SO many to choose from, it can be overwhelming .. depending on what you're looking for finish wise, could help!

I have a lot of brow hairs like Robert but the way you do yours is the way I've been doing mine ever since I found 2 products that works for me. Both are from Elf. The 1st one is used to get that hold. The 2nd is used to fill in the couple of sparse areas with color without having to use a pencil or pen. 10+ yrs ago I learned an eyebrow tip from Bobbi Brown. If you're using a pencil to add color just swipe some of the pencil in your brows (you don't really need to be precise). Then use your spoolie to go back and forth (like Robert did with that soap). Doing that will dispense the color better. It makes it look more natural. It works...

Thank you so much for all your tips! Always love watching your content and tutorials. I have 2 questions: 1. For mature skin with lots of experience (i.e. forehead wrinkles and smile lines) what are some tips for using a foundation or a combination of products properly, where it won't settle into those caverns throughout the day. 2. Brows with barely any hair due to over plucking in the 90s... help!!! It's my least favorite thing to do in my routine. I try...like really hard. I just can't seem to find the best way to really get them looking more natural. Thanks again for all you do! ❤

It gets a bit more tricky in the elder goth makeup game. I contour with mossy greens, grey purples, grey blues, and greys of all shades. If you shade your face improperly with mossy green, you'll appear as though youre starting to mold. Using white foundations are kind of a bitch too, especially now that im nearing my 40s. Im having to do some sorcery to pull off my kind of glam.

Pretty please--------Also! I need help with figuring out how to do good eye looks with uneven eyelids. So my right eyelid is lower than my left- kind of like a sleepy eyelid (in fact the difference is more noticeable when I'm really tired). Any type of liner on the lids just defines the difference no matter how much or how little I line. Heavy eyeshadow does the same, even though I love the dramatic looks. I want to accentuate my eyes because they're big and pretty, but I just need some help in how to do that without the difference being the center of attention. Can you do a similar thing with those beauty egg sponges? I stupidly bought an excessive amount of them trying to learn to use them with liquid/cream makeup(before understanding that my skin hates it), and I've seen people use them for "baking"(which I have only done for stage makeup), so I don't want bake, yet I kind of want to get some use out of them. They're flocked, so kind of fluffy, and I was hoping that they could be used dry. I'm not sure if that makes any sense.
