Dr Zoe Flood has recently qualified as a General Practitioner, having trained in Dublin in the 4-year scheme that ranged from large teaching hospitals to community-based practices. She worked in Perth in Australia for 2 years before returning to her home city of Dublin to train as a GP.
She loves every day in the small practice in south Dublin, and recommends general practice as a career that allows you tailor your working days, the areas you want to specialise in, and even where you want to work.
The 2024 Training programme for General Practice opens for applications on October 2nd, with the highest ever number of GP training places on offer.
