He held that rhythm section down. I bought a ticket last week to see them at the Tivoli in Chattanooga too. Very sad tonight. Thank you for the soul you brought to this band Dusty. Thank you for the inspiration.

Ultimately,When it comes to singing, what constitues better. They are both excellent at what they do so it's just preference . Duty reminds me of a kind of 50's sound whereas I hear 20's and 30"s in Billy's style.

+Neonleeroy True - a much cooler voice. I 'd bet that it wears out too quickly for him to do a whole night, though. Now I know that there are a lot of exceptions, so don't bother telling me how wrong I am. This is more of an observation. From a musician. It's kind of hard to sing while playing the bass, compared to singing while playing the guitar. Guitar players get to play 'around' the rhythm, and the bass players do not. I think there might be more bass playing lead singers if this wasn't true. I've always thought Dusty had the perfect rocking voice.

+James M as it happens i am a singing bass player and although at heart i am a guitarist i have spent most of my gigging days playing bass and singing...although i very much tailor my playing to suit my singing or visa versa...but instrument playing aside he just has a better voice imho
