I would say that, it appears to be a very introspective song, The drug abuse forms a voice to taunt him to either surrender or fight. I may be wrong but, it’s still a beautiful song. The melody behind it is haunting but beautiful

I listened to this song for the first time during a breakup and the lyrics stung so bad. I interpreted the lyrics as if my ex had dedicated them to me and I’ve never been able to listen to this song without feeling the same hurt since. He put me through literal hell , and till this day I’m wondering if I should mind.
