The 1st thing we do 0:57 is have a guy spray lacquer with no mask. You should never spray lacquer without a chemical respirator, if you cared about your staff you would have them use one with chemical pads rated for lacquer on it

What about original wood? Not a dark brown stained table. I'm doing a live edge walnut table top. I was told Amy moisture causes cloudiness. Does that mean I skip the conditioner completely, or wait 3 weeks for conditioner to dry completely 😒😒😒

this is just ugly. if you want wood than have a wood if you want glass buy glass. who in 21st century would want shiny things??? also wood is constantly expanding and contracting but epoxy dont since it is hard. also epoxy is not realy resistant to scratches after a year or 2 this table would look it went through hell.

Regarding any drips off of the side of the table, can you just sand them off?

Yes. For large drips I'd recommend starting as low as 80 and working your way to buff.

Just saw ur video its really what i m trying to do . Can u plz explain in ur video u r sanding after applying first coat of lacquer. Is it so ?
@pkk639
3 жыл бұрын
You don't need to sand after the first coat if you don't let it fully dry. If it fully dry then you will need to sand it so the next coat has something to key to but if you only let the 1st coat dry until its tacky but not coming off on your fingers and you can make an impression with your finger then your good to go with the 2nd coat.
