Iv just came across this video iv just started doing that job with a hiab and theres no way the crane would do that far out with the leg only half out infact its no even half out it would cut out till u put ur leg fully out obv done something with the sensors on it for it to do that
@tad2ik

Hi. What crane are you operating? Some cranes are more forgiving. This hiab crane is very user friendly however we have some atlas crane in our fleet which won't even allow you for moving the empty crane with outriggers not lowered.

Ive seen a few of this chap's videos and in everyone of them he never uses a pad on the leg. Why? You just cannot trust concrete on the roads and if you do it means that your very green behind the ears. I've done hiab work 20 yrs and seen most situations arise. Im not having a go just wish you would use them pads.

You've been lucky so far then. Should have at least 1 leg deployed. Standards for driver loaders are dropping.

IKR and whats with the height he is moving the bricks at😱. Always keep the load as low as poss in the event of a liad slipping even if its more inputs on the controls. wow

Fuck me you love your job I used to do this for a living it is shit this is from 16 years doing it!! All our eastern European friends are very welcome to this shit job that pay peanuts!one useful tip you need to take it easy with the controls on the remote and stop the swinging and your leg needs to come further out when lifting 1 ton pallets of sand!!Ex HIAB Driver of 16 years fucking hated it!!
