Wat too heavy and un-reliable for any North Woods hunting. It also has very poor long range accuracy.

Glad you mentioned the how you bleed it. Ive had this sitting new in the box as a backup for years. Finally pulled it out. 47 minutes later i got it bleed. Thanks to your video. Ridiculous. Plus..the best thing about having a new grease gun is theres no grease all over it! Now there is cause i had to keep taking the tube on and off. Must be part of why they dont have these anymore.

I have my Dad's( RIP) old 7 MM mag ( Mk 1) and a Safari grade Mk 2 iron sighted .243 and my dad has had many different Brownings over the years. They are a very reliable gun. In 1973 I wouldn't have been affraid to hold a quarter between my fingers at 100 yrds him shooting open sights and freehand( wouldn't be stupid enough but wouldn't be affraid) we have owned/I own many Brownings and never been disappointed.. Fad owned the first 3 civilian BARs in Canada. This type of Browning was designed by John M Brownings grandson, NOT John himself.John designed the first self loading rifle with a winchester lever action and a mod.

One shot I will never use for resizing. I used it as per instructions and had a 30-06 case break off UP INSIDE my die. No way to grab it to get it out. Thank God, Lee sent me a new body for just shipping cost. I will try one shot for this procedure.
@ralphwatten2426

I had a few .30-06 cases damaged because screwing the rod up into the die like they say to do doesn't leave enough room in the die for the longer case and it crushed them. I had to lower the rod down into the die more. It doesn't really do a thorough job and I have to use my case mouth chamfering tool to cut off the crimp.

@@builtdifferent244 I have been thinking about getting mom a 6.5 creedmoor ar10. she used my 30.06 occasionally, but it's way to big for her. I like that collapsible stock, so she can have it small enough for her. I've heard the creedmoor is easier to shoot

Funny how the brownings eject, the brass slap the side of the receiver when same thing with the original BAR. I enjoy mine now, at first I enjoyed it becuase they are beautiful guns but I almost dreaded the next shot because of the kick, I started hand loading and now have a successful deer load for the area I hunt that doesn’t blow my shoulder off. They are fun to shoot. Thanks for sharing

To answer my own question. I received my swage die a few days ago and gave it a go. I am happy to report that it works very well with converted 300 blackout brass. Works better than cutting the crimp out.
