Well done for the attempt. However, using CHADS2 Scrore, the only relevant risk factors are the age that is >75yrs and the hypertension. So she scores 2. But if you use CHA2DS2 VASc, relevant risk factors will be - Hypertension - 1point - Age >75yr - 2points - Vascular dx - CAD - 1point - Sex - female - 1 point With a total of 5points Above all, she requires warfarin, as you stated. Thank you.

LISALor Lisarel. (3:25)......funny how it sounds when these Brits pronounce it. When something ends with a or e, they add an r between two words when they pronounce. Australians and Kiwis do that as well. I wonder if they actually notice it.

Thank you sooo much! I’m studying for my CCRN and for the life of me I could not memorize the leads and affected coronary arteries. This helped so much! I’m a visual person and pneumonics really help me. Now I feel more confident about these types of questions 😊

To remember AVR, AVL, and AVF from the bottom up F:floor, L:Ladder, and R: Roof. From the floor you’ll need a ladder to get to the roof.

You are correct that the score is 4, but there are a few points regarding the breakdown of CHA2DS2VASc that need correction: 2 points: Age > 75 gives you two points, and not one. If the patient is >65, they get one point. 1 Point: Patient has HTN 1 Point: The patient is a Female. (There is no point for CHF, as the patient only has angina and the patient is not diabetic so no points for that either) Thank you for posting an educational video, this helps everyone who has an interest in medicine and wants to learn.
