Can’t deny Wilson is a musical genius. Liked most of his output with the Boys and even his first solo album in the 80s but the lyrics of Van Dyke Parks are utter nonsense from a druggie. Music here is great lyrics are laughable.

This is the first time I have seen Brian truly happy😢. Most performances he either looks pensive or cracks a fake smile when he has to, but this video he looks truly happy.

Shame on all the doubters, this would've been an amazing masterpiece if it was released back in 1967. It was ahead of its time, but it would've worked.

In case anyone is wondering about the "dedicated to Markus Sandlund" at the end.......he played the cello in the string section and was killed in the 2004 Tsunami while on holiday in Thailand.

I carried this Album around with me as if it were the Bible in 1966! I made sure all my family and friends listened to it! Yes, even my parents and their friends when we went out or at home on the Console player..great times..great tune Caroline, No..I played Bass Guitar to it in our band..
