The search for the elixir of life, a magic potion that grants eternal youth, dates back as far as 2000 BC. For thousands of years Alchemists believed that they could develop a potion that would reverse aging. Irish mythology has its own version of the elixir of life in The Land of Youth, a land where no one grows old.There is no denying the attractiveness of the idea of a substance that would magically keep us all young and beautiful. However, until that actually exists we need to work with the magic we can create ourselves to keep our bodies and minds youthful throughout our lives. There are many things we cannot control in modern life but there are three that we can: what we eat, how much sleep and how much we move.
The focus of this mini series is on movement. Our bodies are built to move, our joints and muscles are designed with movement in mind, they are magical engineering feats, nothing designed by man comes anywhere close to what they are capable of. Movement is medicine.
