this is an old vid...but you know what it is one of the best out there and i hope to god that it never gets pulled down, it shows you all the basics of racing in a pack, admittedly it's on laps and does differ slightly to an open road race were the terrain changes, other than that you can't go wrong if you have never raced before this is a great starter to make you aware of what to expect.

Always liked watching Crits...never did one. Couldn't afford to get hurt, or replace a bike in the thousands. But the tips are good even for road tour racing. At 52 I'm glad to get a century in with some heat. Lol

This is by far the most helpful video for cat4/5 racers to watch. Take note. Really all categories, but by the time you're a 3 you should already know this stuff.

I understand your sentiment. I too get annoyed with all the "experts" clogging up the search engine which is why I went back and added some of my credentials at the start of the video. As I explained in a previous comment, the point isn't "watch how strong I am," but rather "watch how I can put myself in position despite being one of the weaker riders in the race."
