It must be nice to live in a place where people follow the traffic laws.. I used to ride like this in Mozambique and I ended up in a few crashes but I was always lucky enough to survive

shit didnt work, lights went off after i let off the 3 buttons..why? its working properly when i send a tune to the bike, but not while i try this.
@Duken4evr1
9 жыл бұрын
wyatt flamont Hold down the 3 buttons with one hand, turn the key with the other then start the bike. Wait until the lights "center" and then you can fiddle with the bike running. What you described happens if you turn the key on but do not start the bike.

***** I have an '06 FZ1, which has the same basic motor as yours. The engine is very short stroke and a real revver. It should pull smooth and well at 4,000, but it is not going to snap your head back there. It should rip your arms off above 8,000 though, that motor loves to sing. You could experiment by richening the low range a couple bars (4%) with the buttons and see if it feels better, but the best way is in the map itself. The buttons are good for roadside experimental adjustments though. Mid 160s is very good power for your engine. 170 is probably a stretch unless you throw silly money at it. Might as well buy a new bike instead!

Typically, with carbs and I'm sure fuel injection is the same, you want mid range a tad richer than low and high speed. When you get a carb running strong in the middle of the rpm, it'll lay down some on top end because it becomes too rich. That's the trouble with carbs and why fuel injection is so much better, you can program the injection to compensate for the changing needs of fueling the engine. The trouble with a power commander is it has no load sensing capability. Running at mid-rpm while cruising at a light load is different then having the throttle twisted wide open.

I have an Ultra Classic dresser. 2006. I have the commander III and it pops out the exhaust and knocks at highway speed going up hill on occasion. How can I get the plug in battery adapter to change the fuel settings. Thanks for the video, very helpful.

Yamaha R1 RN12: The pc3 is only te be set and held into adjustment mode right after starting the engine. Without starting the engine the pc3 turns off automatically after about 5sec. It only stays on with a running engine!

This Hombre can ride, he's pretty fucking good. But there's 2 types of rider's, the young, and the old. The young say check me out, watch this, and they film it, the old have all been there already and know what happens. Always listen to old man who rambles on.

The battery acts like the ignition so all you need to do is exactly the same and when the battery is connected, you turn on the ignition but don't start the bike.
