Relax, relax, relax! It feels as if the more we "try" to relax, the harder it becomes and our bodies become more tense.
Funnily, there IS such a thing as "trying" too hard to relax!
All we are accustomed to and taught is to keep on pushing forward, keep trying, keep mustering our energy to overcome challenges. Our body and nervous system are constantly in states of activation without any de-activation, leading to us feeling anxious, tense, overwhelmed, and easily irritated.
This guided meditation helps with you "surrender" into feeling just a wee bit more relaxed...just 1%! Relaxation is a process that will only happen when we stop trying and doing, and just be.
