Hi Cori. I started regularly exercising about three months ago after noticing my hip joints and muscles were constricting more and more. I was malnourished in my early teen and preteen years which stunted my muscular growth and resulted in restricted movement and muscle pain. I would wake up most mornings and my knees would be locked in a fetal position. So I'm here to say thank you bunches for your videos, as I'm finally setting up a routine for myself and watching my diet more closely. I've been feeling better and better and plan to incorporate your practices to further improve myself! Thanks!!

Where on your hip? They could be one or the other or both. A lot can be shown through assessment of your posture and movements, but if you aren't sure, getting assessed may be key. If you aren't sure too, starting with rolling and glute activation may be helpful.
@emanefo
8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am trying to do the exercises on this video. I had a labrum tear surgery. I still experience pain in my abductor that has transferred to my knees. Do you have more exercises for loosening and strengthening my hip? So that I can mix it up every other day. Thanks again :)
@redefiningstrengthOC
8 жыл бұрын
So you want to make sure your glutes are working correctly and that you mobilize the muscles. Make sure you've been approved for exercise as rushing things could lead to you ending up with an injury again. It is important to progress slowly and monitor your progression. Many of the moves in this video may be too much for your current rehab. The boat to bridge and the bridge with squeeze could be good. And even the lying adducgtor lift, but make sure to progress slowly and use the foam rolling and light stretching. More moves: Glute Activation - redefiningstrength.com/glute-activation-15-glute-bridge-variations-and-2-activation-series/ Hip Mobility - kzitem.info/news/bejne/knp5roh-qGmEq3o&lc=z12mt3yqjlasghref22lg1qizkenu1pfa
