Seeing a Mul-T-Lock cylinder and the keys for it are what really got me interested in high-security locks.

Very nice lock. Again, great to watch you working. Funny to see an overset trap in the last chamber. Would have expected it in the front. Out of curiosity, do you know if these locks can be bumped?

Thanks. I have heard internet lore that they can be bumped, but have never seen it.

+LockPickingLawyer I sent you a PM with my email address I hope you got it. If you get me the address I will get one of these kits out to you right away and you can give it away any way you like to a new picker. Thanks.

+The Madhatter Well, it's just that the challenge isn't worth the price of admission IMO. That's what I was getting at. 👍

Would you recommend Mul-T-locks for use? They are expensive and many people seem to think they are good, but they all seem so easy for you to pick.

Mul-T-Locks are, as a general matter, quite good. There are a very limited number of people in the world who can open them as quickly as me, and those are not the people looking to break into your house or steal your bike. I would have no problem trusting one.

tonyholt90 Thanks, and definitely a lower security option, but still ok compared to comparable products.

Nice job again, I noticed you were using a Spooxe pick, I've looked at them but was put off by the price, just wondering what you think of them?
@lockpickinglawyer

They are quite good. They were given to me in a trade, and I didn't like them at first, but they slowly grew on me, and I really like them now. They are not as good as the one's I made for myself, but better than anything CURRENTLY on the market. Are they worth the price? Maybe. I would probably just make my own out of Goso picks given the option, but I'm happy enough that making new one's isn't worth the effort.

Thanks, that's about sums up what I was thinking about them without actually having them in my hand.

Nice job, would you say that is a good lock for beginners wanting to practice pin in pin picking ?
@bobbykeyz1263

I know the Kaunard pin in pin was a great lock for me and fun to pick. It's in my very first video if you want to check it out. And was pretty cheap I think I got it on EBay for about $17.

The Madhatter Thanks. Probably not good for practice because it's too easy and not made anymore... so it may be hard to find. The Kaunard mentioned by BK is a good beginner option, but be prepared to move beyond it quickly.

Pin number 4 is a mushroom pin not a spool btw

+Clock cuber I hate to argue over semantics... it is akin to an upside down mushroom driver, but this is honestly the first time I've ever heard someone refer to a mushroom key pin. Many people call them torpedo keys pins. I prefer to just say that it has some "spooling" to be descriptive in my naming. Thanks for watching.
