Definitely an Everest core. Never seen that in a Euro Profile Cylinder. Thanks for sharing.

Well done Pete! I found it a real struggle to pick, kept dropping pins when setting spools. Very well made lock.

Nice picking bud! That looks like a euro everest! I've never seen a lock other than the Everest that has the trap pin. Great job bud!

Must be an Everest clone. The real deal would have the triangle logo on the plug

Nice pick and nice lock, I've heard some well known HS lock brands will put out unbranded locks in certain markets. I wonder if that's the case, the pins have a sort of recognizable finger print.

Thanks, you're probably right. it is a well made lock.

That is an Shlage Everest core in a Euro spec. Very cool lock but that keyway is a Everest 123 keyway... I will throw a couple blanks and precuts in your box... it will be ready to go out by end of week. Cheers & Happy Pickin !!!

Thanks for the info, never had an Everest before, so nice to know, those keys will be great, I hate locks with no keys :=)))

As do I... We may not truly need a key, but the lock was made with a key for normal operation and without it makes it almost a full lock. Lol I suppose that's the best way for me to discribe it. Lmao Just really want a key with each lock I have... lol obsessive compulsive

that is a neat lock and if you didn't know that hidden pin was there, that could be frustrating...

I bow to the greater knowledge out there but.....🤓🤓🤓😉 I thought I had something very similar and I do...👍👍🎉🔐 Mine is a rim cylinder but the keyway is identical and I also have the extra pin thing😲😳🤔🤔🤓 I have a "Schlage 2000+ XT Premiere " My key looks to have a side bar as well (don't know if it's active yet as havnt picked it or gutted it ) Nice work buddy and thanks for sharing👍👍🔓😎😎😘😍

Thanks, most people think it's an Everest, but is does have very similar warding to an Assa I have with a side bar, just handed the other way.

The Italian VIRO cylindrical padlocks have a bottom of the keyway pin also, but that Euro lock is clearly not a VIRO.

Thanks, yes I've come across those (my video #17), but it sounds like it's an Everest core

Pete, if you could only carry three picks what would they be? Maybe I should ask if you could only have three picks what would they be but I'm most curious about the former.

Probably Sparrows Euro hook, Old Style Peterson No.7 (0.015") and Sparrows SSDev Deep hook.
