@@HealthCoachKait The thing that really bugs me about all this. Is the ignorance of healthcare professionals regarding skin tags (UK Based) I showed the tags to numerous Dr's over the years. Not one mentioned it being an early sign of type 2. 15 years or so later...OH you are type 2. I reversed the high blood sugar with fasting and MEAT! LOL,

Skin tags are an outward sign of insulin resistance. Keto/carnivore is the answer. Skin tags are hormonally charged.

Rarely I eat oatmeal, dried fruits, or juices. Often I try to consume the protein first in my meal. Since eating Keto I haven't had more skin tags. Skin tags are from too much sugar & too many carbohydrates. It's your body's way of crying out to stop this. My Dad had a problem with many skin tags all over his body. He exercised regularly, ate healthy proteins and vegetables. But he loved his ice cream and chocolate. With ZERO family history of dementia he developed this. My thought will always be he would have avoided this if he had avoided sugar. Diet matters. Love the healthy Keto diet that Dr. Berg recommends. He recommends vegetables (keto friendly) and a limited amount of organic berries. (Costco has frozen mixed berries which makes this easy.) Not long ago I purchased a blood glucose meter. If you test your blood you will then know for sure what foods to consume and what foods to avoid.

At 4:20 you say dried fruit has the sugar removed so all that is left is concentrated sugar. How can they take the sugar out of something and still be left with sugar ? Or am I understanding what you are saying wrong?

Hi Kait, I’m a little confused and it might sounds silly I’ve had loads of blood sugar blood tests throughout my life inc recently in general with other normal blood tests and my sugar levels have always been perfect. I won’t deny it I have a lot of sugar in my diet and I swear I have some insulin resistance symptoms for sure but yet again my blood work is always perfect with sugar surprisingly I know lol can you have insulin resistance but a constantly good sugar reading in blood tests? Xx thank you
@HealthCoachKait
4 ай бұрын
Yes, this is because IR starts 5-15 years before fasting blood sugar rises enough to be prediabetic. Get your fasting insulin tested and you’ll probably be surprised to see it elevated ☹️

I have no blood sugar spikes, gluten free, no oatmeal, very low carb, no orange juice or any other juices--this is has been consistant most of my life--and I have a few skin tags. They, like lipomas, can simply be genetic. While this is good advice, eliminating these foods will not necessarily ensure no skin tags. This is a rumor.
