I don’t think it’s the justice system. It’s the laws and the interpretation of them that makes that all possible. The system is that you are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and all the other high level stuff that comes with that system. That’s a good system, the problem is we have these bleeding heart liberals that believe prison can teach criminals to be good people, and it doesn’t. Violent criminals rarely change, and if we keep writing laws that decrease their time in jail and make it easy for them to get off early, or avoid jail altogether, this will continue. The solution is to keep criminals in prison, and harshen penalties. We all love the idea of criminals learning their lesson, but it’s just not the reality.
@jellybean547
26 күн бұрын
@mannyfan165 Harsher penalties doesn't work either. The US has shown that. There needs to be a way of determining who is redeemable and who isn't, and separate them.

In terms of that first story and the online ex-boyfriend, it really just goes to show that you that most of the time really don’t a person that you’ve only met online, they can present the best versions of themselves easily over the internet, or rather a false perception of who they really are. Always be careful about who you decide to trust, especially with any sort of online relationship, romantic or otherwise. The age difference mentioned would’ve also been another red flag, as I believe the girl in the story was only 18 at the time? In my opinion, if you’re above the age of 18 and out of high school already, you’ve got no business jumping into something with someone whom is still in high school, even if they are 18.

He can eat cockroaches like Warren Fellows had to do for drug trafficking in Thailand (The Damage Done [book]). I’m happy Scully is there for life. He is a dirty, filthy, bloody mongrel! He’s lucky he’s not in an Australian prison because he would have to be in protective custody as even criminals have standards, and we all know what would happen to him. That first story was absolutely wild. Both Big Lake & Monticello are only 10-15 minutes away from the town I grew up in, and I spent a lot of time in both of those towns while the case was going on; it's just surreal to hear about something so horrible going on to a person that you've probably interacted with, and you're just none the wiser

Im disgusted by that poor girl's family. She was coerced, blackmailed, then abused to the point of wanting to take her own life just for her parents to blame her. Her parents are almost as bad as the man who traumatized her.

The nice part about these Dark Web stories is they didn't follow the same pattern as all the others: person goes to deep web, their computer and camera get taken over and they can't shut it off. The person behind all of that knows exactly who the person is and where they live and for some weird reason, they live close enough to come to the person's house to threaten them or cause them harm. They don't happen to live across the globe, like what is usually the case. I get tired of all the stories like this. They can't all be true.
@coreyhall1150

I'd say only 1 out of 1000 of those stories are true. Sounds more like ppl that had the same idea for a movie script and are testing it out on ppl.

As a mother with 3 teenage daughters and a 9yr old son, this is the most terrifying thing I've ever heard on KZitem. I consume a lot of scaryish things in here. These people are so much scarier than any ghost, Bigfoot, or aliens. I talk to my kids about these things all the time. But I know they still don't think it could happen to them. I just make sure they know they can come to me with anything, anytime and I won't blame them, mock them or not take them seriously. Bless the people working so hard to blow the cover off of these disgusting excuses for human beings.

I’m glad these were actually real, I know that you had to downplay what Peter Scully was actually doing for the audience but for anyone wondering what he actually did, look into his story, and to think people like this exist, watch your kids.

This video was on my recommended list and I clicked on it to listen. First let me say that I absolutely love your voice and narrating skills. I woke up this morning around 3 am and couldn’t go back to sleep. About maybe halfway through, I knocked out. Love me some dark web stories. I was able to get into the deep web once many years ago and saw some things that are forever burned in my brain. I’ll never go there again and snoop around out of curiosity. *edit* I just subscribed to your channel ❤️

Hey Joel, thank you for this video. It's been a long time since I've heard dark web stories, especially from my favorite narrator, you. Your voice is so relaxing. Unlike some narrators, you don't fluctuate between barely whispering 15 feet from the microphone and shouting into the damn thing. I listen to your stories all the time
