Was with my ex bf for almost 4 years..lived with him, did the wife thing...no ring. Came down to straight up asking him if he saw us ever getting married. He said no. I moved out almost immediately. Lesson was learned. From there on I made a vow to myself that I would never move in with another boyfriend. He would need to be at LEAST a fiancé. No ring no living together. Fast forward to today I've been with my now fiancé for not even a year before he proposed. As they say.."if he wanted to, he would".. My point: lay down your boundaries and requirements in the beginning and stick to them. You'll weed out the ones who aren't worth your time and eventually come across the one who is.

I have a 3 steps advice. Tell the guy beforehand that you want to get married and you’re not interested in a boyfriend. Never ever live with a guy without being married. And lastly start hurrying to get married very early on, because good men are taken away very fast. And I garantie you that you’ll be successful, just be smart about the process and honest.

Irina is absolutely right, start out early with intention. The good ones go. Also, don’t forget to pick someone who works hard, is fiscally responsible and gets pleasure from meeting your needs in all ways. Finally offer him the same thing. Always put each other first.

They want to waste their time with a fun mate. :) Most of these men are covert narcissists who rest in their feminine energy and will trigger you to step in your masculine and run you dry. After you get emotionally depleted and you have adrenaline fatigue he calls you sick and leaves. (That’s what my father did to his ex spouse) they never really love you. They enjoy their time with you Until they find “that” mate. Don’t waste your time and lower your value with these leaches. Make it about you. It isn’t about them. Don’t settle for potential. Focus on their character and morals. Protect your peace and mental health. I never cared about marriage and never romanticised the idea of it. Massive disparity in wealth is a reason men can be hesitant however this only applies to a minority of a population, especially if in addition you've have had a great childhood upbringing, close to family and then have either worked for or been fortunate to have an abundance of wealth. To marry the wrong woman can completely turn your life upside down. With wealth out the picture though yes you should be finding it easier to commit to marry.

I think this is all just common sense and we already know why he's not purposing. You hit the nail on the head, pointing out that we're ignoring the signs of differing values or expectations. In that same way we're ignoring the oh-so obvious behaviors, procrastination, in some cases outright lies, that give us the answer we didn't want to hear. I appreciate your bluntness. I think it's just time to move forward with our lives, weigh the pros and cons of staying in a relationship that will never provide assurance of partnership and belonging. If you make your intentions known, your relationship is 1-2 years in and you're receiving an out right rejection, excuse, or he requires proof of your worthiness by moving the goal post every time you "cause doubt"(more accurately defined as Everytime you do/don't do something he can add to the list he believes substantiates avoiding commitment to you) you know why. And I'm starting to realize that "why won't he purpose?"isn't the right question anyway." Why am I waiting for him to purpose?" is the appropriate question to ask.

Its a con. You set up the pieces. First you devalue them. The make them dependent Sign a contract Frame them Scapegoat In group controls the narrative and denies it… censors it Out group (me) points it out. Points it out… points it out… and im not going to stop until you lose everyone and theres no one left to lie to

What the fuck do you teach them? Is there a sociopath training they go through at 5 years old? Because people arent naturally wired this way, it has to be trained in them

Im guessing as parents, you ignore them ostracize them, treat them like shit to the brink of suicide ams then say “this is what you have to become to survive, heres the list of people thats ok to do this too and heres a list of people its not ok to do this too. Make money. Nothing is your fault” Then you fill in the blanks as you go?

Because at this rate, if i had children id teach them “never trust anything anyone does or says. There is a 100% chance that 99.9% of the things people will say and do are a lie”
