The team received a call from Ambulance control to advise of a walker with a suspected broken leg on the top of Kinder Scout. Due to poor weather conditions and COVID-19, there were no helicopters available to help with the evacuation. A long and gruelling stretcher carry, involving walking down the middle of the Kinder river finally got the casualty to our Land Rovers at Edale Cross.
