We were requested to assist Glossop team with the rescue of two separate groups who needed assistance after trying to find the crashed B29 Superfortress on Bleaklow. The more severe of the two groups contained a man with a significant lower leg injury so a coastguard helicopter was requested to help. They flew the casualties back to the summit of Snake Pass, landing on the main road, before then flying the injured walker on to hospital.
