Food is a big part of culture in Thailand. Before the word “sawasdee” and even nowadays sometime we greeting each other with phrase “kin kao rue young” which means Have you eaten yet?

It is a wonderful place for us westerners who have the wealth and privilege to take advantage of their lower economic status vs the West. Middle class Westerners even borderline lower class Westerners can live like royalty there at least as long as the savings account holds out or you can work a digital remote job to make Western wages. You don't see as many people living that life in say Tokyo, whcih is also different and exotic yet costs as much or more as NYC or London. Thailand is beautiful and I'm going back later this year to visit. I acknowledge my wealth and privilege to do so. Many local Thai people do not live so well.

I certainly felt the Sabai Sabai culture after my second visit back to Manchester. Things that bothered me suddenly didn't, like a late bus or train, or a long queue. Thailand certainly mellows you out after a few years. Nice vid as always fella. Are you thinking of going to other countries around Asia?

Hi, nice video as always. Got a question and a suggestion: how bolt or grab works? I mean, can you pay with cash or is with a transfer with the mobile? I think it could be nice if you make content about the wild animals you found in your life there, like spiders or snakes encounters or with wild dogs if ever happened to you something like that (it happened to me in phuket 😬😬😬) Cheers 👏

With bolt/grab you can connect your card to the account so it automatically transfers or you can pay in cash, it’s up to you True there’s lots of street dogs here haha
