Maybe this is a dumb question, but how is this more accurate compared to just testing via a leg extension/curl machine? I understand it mesures force output and other things, but if the goal is just to see specific strength of hamstring to quad ratio, wouldnt a curl and extension suffice?

You could do that as long as the set up is standardized each time you test and you are comfortable using a weight at your objective finding. From a clinical standpoint, the Tindeq provides us with important information as clinicians so we can make informed decisions about treatment!

During the hamstring test would ankle plantar vs. dorsiflexion allow for a higher strength number? Dorsiflexion seems to significantly allow me to pull my leg backwards, but is this a compensation pattern? When plantar flexed its drastically weaker.

Thanks for the video and the info on Tindeq. The links do the Carabiner, moving strap and Ankle strap all redirect to the RHINO's carabiner. Is it possible for you to update the other 2 so we know the setup that you're using, please? Cheers!

May have missed this, why did you measure for a 30dg shin angle instead of 60dg?

We are wanting to measure at 60 degrees of knee flexion so if going from a 90 degree angle to start, we will want the app to be 30 degrees.
