I was at a whiskey bar last night, and the bartender made a kind of scorched Old Fashioned by spraying the Angostura bitters in the glass with a small atomizer over a flame. I made this last night after seeing this post! I enjoyed the cocktail, but it didn't blow my mind. I was using homemade orgeat, and when it was all mixed together it was kinda the colour of a Bloody Mary which kept throwing me off. I love bitters so I had high hopes, but I think prefer having an ounce of bitters in with a lemon-lime-mint-soda drink (it's an Australian pub classic called a Lemon, Lime & Bitters, but I add extra bitters). But I'm pleased I tried this and gave it a go!

Glögi or glögg is this spicy winey hot beverage we have during the christmas time that may or may not have alcohol. Basically a mulled wine. This is incredible and the fact that we don't have a price for Ango at my workplace other than 1€ cocktail mix makes it better as I just got myself a full cocktail for the price of 1cl of Bulleit rye with staff discount!

Been making this drink based on the 'How to drink' channel's recipe for a little over a year now which includes an egg white for a decadent foam on top. If you'd like to do that, simply follow Ander's recipe, add an egg white and shake *without ice* (be careful to seal this properly as it WILL try to explode bright red bitters everywhere) and then add ice and shake again to chill before pouring into your glass. Cheers!

Holy Cow! So I absolutely LOVE the Trinidad sour! I first had one at our local bar in VT using Mad River Revolution Rye couple of years ago. They use slightly different ratios essentially swapping the rye and bitters amounts you use (they use 1/2 oz bitters and 1oz rye). I have to say, I love them both but I think I actually like your recipe better with the 1 oz of bitters. However, I did use about 3/4 oz of rye because I love the Revolution Rye!! If you can get your hands on some Revolution Rye from Mad River Distillers in VT, I highly suggest trying the Trinidad Sour with that rye! You will LOVE it! Another cocktail that features Angostura up front is the Baker St. Swizzle (absinthe, lemon, simple and a 1/2 oz of Angostura floated on top, garnished with mint!
