In this lesson:
The feelings you're actually experiencing are much more interesting to watch than whatever you think your character should be feeling. We go into detail about why using your current feelings as a foundation for the work is more interesting, more believable, and even easier for the actor. We go into the science of "microexpressions" to help explain why this approach is so important for actors who want to come across as believable, and review a student-submitted self tape and go into really fine detail as a concrete example of "real" feelings vs. "trying to show" feelings.
(Thank you to the brave actors who shared with us today!🙏🏻)
