I have a question and hope u can respond. I have been struggling with pain for 2 years near my groin area and it is sharp pain the sort of pinches into my pelvis. Idk if this is the stuff I should do to strengthen it. But when I do this exercise it pinches

Yes definitely try this exercise, ideally start doing it daily. I had the same pain when playing football (soccer). The pain is triggered by quick changes of direction, which is common in basketball too. It is normal for the exercise to hurt at first (this means that you are targeting the right spot!). Pain up to maybe a 6 or 7 out of 10 is OK, almost encouraged. When the pain starts to get very high then stop and try again the next day. Overtime you will build up strength.

@@huntcf3450 For context I play football (soccer) every week, and this injury stopped me from playing for over a year because I would get very sharp pains in my groin - I later discovered that it was an adductor injury (after seeing two different physiotherapists). Now that I do this every day, I can play football every week without pain! Let me know if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!

You can scoot closer to the bench, bend the knee and place the entire knee and lower leg on the bench initially until you build enough strength to comfortably do it at the ankle or lower leg.

Yes it's normal. However, it can also can depend how high your bench is which will change the angle of the tension on your knee.

If you feel in your heart and body that’s the guess then you are right, I had lower back pain ever since I started training my legs it went away
