"I don't believe in God but I swear to God, I'm scared to death of God". Always makes me chuckle. It reminds of the saying "some people don't believe in ghosts but nobody likes staying in a house with a reputation of being haunted" .

It's crazy. Everyone talks about how impossible the chorus seems, but have you tried it? It's written so nicely from a linguistics perspective that it's not nearly as hard as it seems. It sounds super intimidating, but after a bit of practice, I pretty much have it nailed.

Check out “rappers sorted by vocabulary” it’s a chart someone made that shows that Aesop Rock is objectively the most original lyricist in all of hip hop. Truly in a league of his own, and this song is one of the best examples of that.

I get people go crazy for Aesop cuz of the amount of unique words. But the most important part of that is think: Aesop is not only rhyming these big words, he’s using them correctly and somehow bringing them into situations u would ACTUALLY use the words in without forcing ANYTHING Only those who write and/or rap will know how incredibly hard that is to do. On top of keeping up the rhyme patterns King Los Daylyt Aesop Rock Illmac Canibus Lupe Fiasco They are all complete aliens w/ the pen when compared to everyone else

I think it's really just because these words, as unique and esoteric as they seem to a casual wielder of english, simply form this man's habitual, day-to-day thinking vocabulary. I say thinking vocabulary because he's not nearly as wordy in interviews.

After understanding the gravity of the last line I might need to take a vow of silence. Water acts a lot like gravity, you can imagine gravitational waves as the water surface... With enough mass, it makes its own path of least resistance. A black hole. I play with theoretical astrophysics in my freetime imagine that a black hole is likely a collapsed space which bends.. Like a tardis, basically.. Blistering in a wishing well.. And that's a new big bang..? Holy crap that's so dense in metaphoric lining. I am probably just projecting my imagination on you music. That or you're probably disappointed that im not comparing you to Galileo, in terms of his artistic genius. But that you might just be incoherently intelligent.. Sounds like idiocracy. The black hole takes mass information, and is being spun up in a torrential hole and released down the light vortex as a nebula to the other side as atomic dust. Cause god speed can't approach that shot. I used the analogy of a water surface, stacked for time and divided the other distance as spacetime in a way.. which exists in layers of "pressure" distances along the EMF (light is sort of everywhere.. Just freaking magic. Just binary, off and on, AKA 0 or 1 in string theory. Light is sort of everywhere.) Recently I had a hypothesis of mine confirmed from a the function of gravity.. Just wasn't me who published. So depressing. I was thinking this exact same holographic hypothesis. I think you were on to something, Ian.. I only came to this conclusion after three months, but I don't bother with recreational math.
yikes. you know you can pay respects without disrespecting another great lyricist.
