Again. Thank you for the video. Yeah, this call looks is one of those where you have to look even under the rocks to see what is going on. What I see with Testo probes is that you can't go too far away from them. They seem not to have the same range as the Fieldpiece ones. Today I went down the ladder to the restaurant, and I couldn't read the Testos at the thermostat, but I could read the Fieldpiece Hygrometers. Fieldpiece is more expensive, but I see why.

Not a fan of the new testo manifold to be honest. I have the 557s as well and I liked them until I picked up the fieldpiece probes from true tech tools and started using them with measure quick, much higher quality tools I find. The testos always needed to be re-zeroed, they’d be off by like 3 psi every time i’d use them. Right after a pressure test you’d let out the nitrogen and they’d be off by 2 psi again. The screen cracked from sitting in the sun even though I babied them. When they weren’t attached to a unit they were back in the case. The bluetooth was garbage, they’d disconnect when you’d come off the roof into the building within 50ft of the manifold. The fieldpiece has amazing bluetooth range, they stayed connected one time through 3 floors of concrete. They come back to zero every time and battery life is over a year. The testos live on the shelf in the van now.

Exactly all the bad experiences I had with the 557. And I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt call Deb Testo . They sent me out a second set the exact same problems. The 557 will go down in Testo‘s history books other than the initial sale because everybody was hyped but then let down with a big crash especially for the price. There is definitely not as reliable and dependable as my old Testo 570

@@ConnorCoultis yes I believe I was the very first one if that all possible with the 557. I actually discovered and put in my order and called before they were even available or announced in the United States. Because I’m also signed up to Testo in the European market and so I got a EU advertisement sent to my email about the 557. I instantly put in an order to True Tech Tools and they told me they didn’t know nothing about it yet lol 😂 So I had to wait for them to announce it. One of my biggest tool purchase regrets ever. That’s when I discovered it had a problem with my old iPhone model six so it forced me to buy a new one that cost a boatload of money 💰 Then I discovered it would not work with my old android pad too many software glitches and drop outs and lock ups Had problems with the old iPad so it forced me to buy a brand new one that was several hundred dollars more Just to use the Testo 557, and then to find out it had so many problems glitches and Bluetooth connectivity problems it is now a testo brick. Only comes out in emergencies or when I need a third or fourth set of gauges just to pull refrigerant recoveries through or look at some pressures not even attempting to use Bluetooth or any diagnostic procedures. I’m still walking around bowlegged with my tail between my legs licking my wounds on that one.
