Another solid video and great tip about a paintball bag. I've got a GX CS4 compressor. However seeing how quickly you can refill from a tank, I will likely get one too and just refill it from my compressor.

Was on 200 yard range. There was a 50 bmg two benches down from me. My shooting stopped as soon as he dropped the hammer on the first shot. The muzzle brake just vent’s tremendous volumes of gas to the sides. The blast wave and noise is a show stopper. Nice thing about shooters, most will offer you a couple of shots if you show interest. The rifle is so heavy recoil was no more than a .308. No issue to shoot. just don’t want to be within about 30 feet of that muzzle brake! Note: even with good hearing pro you don’t want to be in the brake…

Yea, I seen a few videos of those guns blowing apart One guy shooting a well know bolt action that has had issues of doing that more than once.. Not my cup of tea. So much power and not allowed at our range ... Silence is golden lol.....

@@ShootingTargets727 - I can relate. I can’t disagree when I’m having a quiet outing (no big bores) and a powder burner shows up. Rim fire isn’t bad but center fire kinda makes you feel like your air gunning session just got ruined. So I put everything up and pull out my 450 Bushmaster with a muzzle brake and hot loads. While not a 50 bmg, the straight walled thumper AR kicks like a 12 gauge eating slugs. And according to friends, it’s not pleasant to be beside on the next bench! My pet range load is a 230 grn FMJ (think 45 ACP) over 41.0 grns of lil’l gun and almost 2600 fps. Talk about a bear gun! A word of caution, someone don’t repeat the load I mentioned without working up to it slowly! There is a lot of info available about hot-rodding the 450B. If you want to chase that rabbit start with Tim LeGendre of LeMag Firearms. The 450B is based on the 450 Professional developed by Tim. There is a bunch of interesting info regarding the original design and changes made so the cartridge wouldn’t over drive Hornaday 250 grn FTX bullet. Factory stuff is limited to about 2200 as to not over stress the projectile. Even in detuned form, it is still a potent straight wall cartridge that is compatible with AR 15 platform. If you haven’t figured it out yet, air is not where I started my shooting fascination but it has been a lot of fun and rewarding.

Cleaning rods & tools. Especially tools for optics. If your accuracy is suddenly off, check your optic. I also carry a wooden Dow that’s about 3 ft long, marked off in inch increments. Works great for checking hits to read drop, grouping or wind. Alway have thin plastic grocery bags that you can use to cover your shoes in muddy conditions or use as a wind flag if needed. Just handy to have.

Be wary buying tanks & bottles. The warranty begins from the date of manufacture on the item. NOT THE DATE YOU BUY IT.

Yes very good point. Some are seriously discounted only to find out they have a shelf life of like 2 years left. Thanks for bringing that up.

I do a lot of long range shooting but never bring flags. I’m a hunter above all, so it makes more sense to learn how to read grass, trees, mirage. Because i won’t have flags in a hunting situation.
