2 cups burst amaranth (kiwicha)
1 cinnamon stick
*Amaranth is also known as kiwicha (quihuicha), pigweed, bleo.
NUTRIENTS
Mead contains a higher proportion of minerals such as potassium, calcium and sodium, followed by iron, copper, magnesium, selenium and zinc. It also provides us with water-soluble vitamins that include the B complex (B1, B2, B3 and B6), as well as saponins, which have anti-inflammatory activity.
