Sincopare they fell in love in this movie, they kept their friendship until Elvis died. She wanted to marry him but he kept his word to Pricillas father he'd marry Pricilla. He loved Pricilla but his love and passion was for Ann. Elvis always preferred regular country girls from his home town for marriage material, never starlets but Ann was special and stole his heart. He fooled around with more starlets than he could count but he preferred his wholesome pretty hometown girls. I wish he and Ann were married instead of Pricila...She was also stunning but she used him to get into show business. She cheated with her karate instructor and dropped Elvis like hot potato. She kept the Elvis name bc it opened doors for her in show business. Ann Margaret married after Elvis, still is married to the same man, became a devout christian, remains low key. When Elvis died, she flew to his funeral. They said she cried uncontrollably at the funeral. She was devastated. Many books have been written about Elvis, from his friends,ex wife,ex girlfriends,Ann Margaret refused to write a book or even talk about Elvis in interviews. whenever asked, she begins to cry.

@@A358M I don't know where you get your info, but most of what you write is wrong. Just flat wrong. Go do some reading. keetonplace I suppose you are an Elvis scholar? Smh He loved Ann Margaret? Yes. Did he not have a love relationship with her ? Yes. Did Priscilla cheat on him with a karate instructor? Yes. Did he screw around with every Hollywood starlet? Yes. Was he mostly,if not only, romantically involved with "good" girl's? Yes. He certainly got around with stunning beautuful women, but, good girls were the one's he brought home to live with him. Did Ann Margaret fly in to be at his funeral? Yes. Was she deeply hurt over his death? Yes. Did she ever reveal her personal relationship with Elvis publically? No. Unlike the other's,has she written books on Elvis for profit? No. Was he hurt over his divorce? Yes. Until Pricilla left him is when he painfully realized her loss. I believe it was more because his stability of having a wife and family was what hurt him,and left him feeling lonely. In spite of many different relationships he had after his divorce,he was not a happy man. How could he have been happy with all the opioids he was popping? He died as as a bloated overweight unhealthy pill popping addict....slumped off the toilet,on the floor of his bathroom. The truth and nothing but the truth.

🍭 Regarding previous comments about Ann-Margret's dancing. This was filmed in 1963. Everyone was dancing the frug, the swim, & the watusi. If you don't like the dance moves, blame David Winters, the choreographer. Plus George Sidney, the director, would have put his stamp of approval on everything. As far as facial expressions go, entertainers are supposed to be animated while on stage. Check out other Ann-Margret dances thru the years. She is impeccable in everything she does. I've seen her in person several times. She is the most energetic person I've ever seen. 🍭💖🍭🌷

Match made in heaven, really! Always be a "what if?" In another life, no doubt, both would be together. Even in the 70s, when both had drug and alcohol addictions, both would more than likely understand each other reasons better than everyone around them and try to help each other overcome their addictions. We will never know. I say out of all known women in Elvis' life bar, his mother, Glady. Ann Margaret was his closest equal in terms of personality.
