Interest in the Israeli light barrel Romat FAL has been quite high recently thanks to new offerings from DSA. With that in mind, it seemed a good time to revisit one of Misha's favorite FAL variants of all-time. This is a Stuchner Brothers Limited (SBL) semi-auto preban, assembled up using original IDF light barrel parts. This was the first, the original 'Hebrew Hammer' semi-auto FAL offering in this country.
These were imported first by Onyx and then Armscorp back in the late 1980s. In this video we take one to the range, talk a bit about the SBL history, and point out some variations that could be found with these rifles.
