My baby has stiff neck syndrome. It's very common in new babies. She was a late roller and crawler bc her neck was so tight to ome side. 4 chiropractor visits and she was rolling all over the house. The chiropractor also helps for babies with ear and sinus issues. Let your friends know. Instead of getting those tubes bc they keep getting ear infections; look into a chiropractor!!!

I'm a chiropractor. I have treated patients from 1 1/2 days old all the way to 101 yrs. My youngest patient was 1 ¹/2 Days. He had been a midwife pregnancy. She has a great pregnancy when he presented he didn't Crown he was trying to come out ear First. Mom's contractions were so strong they couldn't push him back in. They rushed him to the hospital where he was pulled out with vacuum suction extraction. When he came to me a day and a half later he had a cone head from the vacuum suction extraction. He was 1 1/2 days old and had no sucking reflex. He couldn't latch. After his very gentle adjustment to realign his spine and nerves he ate for the first time ever. He is now about 6' + and a wonderful young man from a great family.

Most babies born vaginally have a "cone head". It also takes most babies a couple of days to learn to latch... No one should be aligning and adjusting such a young child. Their bodies aren't made for that. Should be malpractice, especially considering how little you know about infants, judging by this comment.

My granny used to do that to my baby boys and it helped. Or even rub the belly gently. I remember that baby cry and it took me back to when my boys had colic. YOU ARE AN AMAZING MAMA!! If she had been my first child I would have had a very hard time having another. I had 4 and she was the only one that suffered like this. I went to the chiropractor this week and I asked him ehat was the history of chriopractice... He gave me a long history lesson, it was facinating, but I share this one thing he said that when it first started that medical doctors rallied against chiropractitioners and basically convinced the medical association to legally go after them for practicing medicine without a license. They later overturned that decision. However even today older aged doctors do not recognize chiropractors as legitamate doctors. They have a stygma thinking its not officially a medical science (but quakery).

@@Pinkysisay Talk to your baby's pediatrician about switching to different feeding methods, try gas drops or gripe water. Change formulas until you find one that works, if formula feeding, or if breastfeeding, change your diet and eliminate what's causing the gas buildup. Tummy massages, bringing baby's knees up to their belly, bicycle the legs. Don't lay baby flat on their backs-they make crib wedges that go under the fitted sheet, or put under the crib mattress. You can use rolled up blankets if you can't find a wedge. Tummy time. I would lay my nephew (raising since birth for 14yrs) on his side as a newborn and put a rolled up receiving blanket behind his back, so he couldn't roll flat on his back. He got up every 2 hours, so the next time I laid him down, I switched sides so he wasn't laying on the same side of his body constantly. He had horrible reflux, and was losing weight, so at 2mo, the Pedi suggested giving him purees so he could keep it down and gain weight. He was already sitting up unassisted and could jump up and down when holding him upright on his sides, so we went ahead and tried it and it worked. ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR DR BEFORE TRYING ANYTHING OUT ON YOUR BABY! I can't stress that enough. Always ask a Dr first. With newborns, a slight incline is good, but if baby is propped up too far, their chin will touch their chest and cut off their air way. So don't use a boppy or anything similar to sit the baby up when baby is unsupervised. You can use it for tummy time as well, as long as the baby is supervised. There are also these little pillow mat type things that allows you to lay the baby on their belly and the thing is on a slight incline to help soothe colic or reflux. You can also lean back and lay the baby on top of your body, belly to belly.

Chiropractic treatment was the worst experience of my life. It felt amazing at the time. I went regularly for about 2 yrs. Then i was on holiday in Bali, Indonesia and suddenly the most excruciating pain hit my spine/neck where i get treatment. I couldn't find a chiro there and it took about 3 days before the pain subsisded to a point where I could function. My body had begun to rely on the adjustments and was no longer able to adjust itself as necessary. I can't imagine the long term implications for babies would be on spinal function. 😶

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. It sounds like you weren’t seeing a professional if you were looking for any “crack and pop” type of chiropractor. It’s not like a restaurant, real spinal professionals have doctorate degrees in something like physical therapy or sports medicine. They require x-rays, and a full patient assessment going over all your medical history. This takes hours and some people don’t even get adjusted on the first day, because there’s so many medical exams first. Adjustments are actually supposed to be gentle movements. Many specialists even rely on machines that are calibrated for the highest precision. Especially for anything around the neck. Snapping and popping is dangerous and has lead to many injuries and deaths. Also I couldn’t find any research that the body becomes reliant on adjustments. It’s like saying the body becomes reliant on exercise. It’s most likely you forgot how bad you felt before you started. So when you stop, of course it seems bad again.
@Solistastyle
6 ай бұрын
@@angelkat333 Thanks. I got one of the best professionals, spent thousands and yes I got X Rays etc. There is a significant distinction between exercise (internally motivated, self directed, reliant on the body's own actions AND responses) which is complete self regulation. And an external adjustment. You can look for research for as long as you want but it's basic common sense to me. And if you want info on long term implications of external interventions, the principles apply in any area of health - the food you use, the medica you take. Chiropractic adjustment is just another external intervention. If you want info on the long term impact of adjustments, maybe talk to your long term clients who come back regularly saying they 'need' adjustments. Any dependence is unhealthy. Chiro is too new to collate the data. But people don't 'need' medication, or adjustments for their bodies to work properly. True healing is about stulimulating your own body to heal itself. Yoga is a much better, 8000 year artform for that. 🥂

You 2 are doing great. This is hard to watch, he is so colic. Just keep saying "this is just a moment in time" and things will get better ❤

Yes!! My daughter was the same way and come to find out she couldn’t really turn her head to the right 😢 she was always sleeping facing the left. Babies, like us mommas go through a lot. Especially when they are getting pulled out. I’m so happy he got relief and hope you do too momma!

Both my kids got adjusted right after birth and ever since. It helps keep them healthier and even boosts gut health. Great choice mama!!
